I can relate to you, this happens when anyone has done conditioning or extreme exercise after being semi-idle for awhile. You need to make sure and gently stretch your muscles that are sore, what happens is acid builds up within your muscles and makes them stiff and sore, stretching those muscles releases the acid build up and helps the pain. You could also take some advil for anti-inflammatory reasons and to help with pain. Another thing that would help is to take a warm bath using epson salts. You can buy Epson salts at pretty much any grocery or drug store and they are pretty cheap. They will help your muscles to relax and feel better.

Had this happen several times

What you are suffering from is called Delayed Onset of Muscle Soreness or DOMS for short. What has occurred is that the muscles have been torn in places and need time to recover. You can do this in a few ways. The old way was to just rest until the soreness went away. The newer way is to work the muscles again but not as hard as you did when you caused the problem. So if the soreness is from throwing then throw again but only for short distances and at most at half speed. You can do this for a few days and the soreness will be gone and should not return. Do not return to full speed until the soreness has gone. If you do return to full speed and strength there will be no recovery time and they will stay weaker than normal until they finally get the rest that they want.

Your muscles are just tired and tensed/tight. Take a hot bath or soak them in warm water daily. Also, use ice and lots of it. Also get plenty of rest. They should be completely better in no more than a week.

Baseball conditioning affects all of your muscles etc. Get into a nice hot bath and soak away those tight muscles. Repeat again tonight and that should take away the soreness.
