I pulled the muscle in my upper leg... help?!

Question: I pulled the muscle in my upper leg... help?
The other day I was walking and slipped on some ice, I didn't fall but I did use my leg muscles to stay up. Now, a few days later I have horrible pain in my upper leg on my left side. No joke, the pain is right under the left side of my butt right where the buttocks joins with the leg.

Can anyone tell me how to relieve the pain? It's really bad, it hurts to get up and sit down.

Answers:

Hot bath, when dry apply tiger balm, it will heal it faster, during the day alternate from cold pack to warm pack, doing so will help get the knot out. Also massages help

Pulled muscles can be very painful but there are ways to help them. Soak it in hot water such as taking a hot bath. Also, fill a bag with ice and wrap it in a towel or cloth. Then put it on your leg and tape it to your leg or use an ace bandage and wrap it to your leg. Take ibuprofen for pain.
