Question: I have had two sudden attacks of blurred vision in the right eye and purple splash like images in this eye if?
like images if i cover the left eye at the time of the blurred vision. It lasted in both cases a few minutes. Had a few headaches recently and a feeling of nausea. I have suffered from high blood pressure for many years and am on daily treatment which has been working fine. We have history of heart disease in the family which my father died of, and my sister has. I am 53 and teach most of the time, so am in quite a stressful job. Please tell me if I need to consult my GP.

I suggest you see an optician as you could need glasses he/she can also detect things like cataracts etc and can advise your next step.
