Do I have a hemorrhoid?!

Question: Do I have a hemorrhoid?
I'm a little concerned as of late. I have an occasional itch inside my anus. I researched a little bit and found out about hemorrhoids and saw a diagram of internal and external. After, I found a lump on the wall of my anus that didn't hurt at all and felt like it was under the skin. It's not very large, no larger than a pea and doesn't hurt. I'm a 16 year old male, relatively sedentary, and I rarely eat greasy foods, although shortly after eating a greasy meal I noticed the itch. I don't eat much fiber, though. I want to tell my parents, but I'm really nervous about doing it. I don't recall seeing any blood in my stool recently, but it has happened a couple times in the past (about...1-2 times a year). I'm really hoping it's a hemorrhoid and not something more serious. Can anyone tell me what it is or at least point me in a good direction?

Anal itching is the irritation of the skin at the exit of the rectum, known as the anus, accompanied by the desire to scratch. Although itching may be a reaction to chemicals in the stool, it often implies that there is inflammation of the anal area. The intensity of anal itching and the amount of inflammation increases from the direct trauma of scratching and the presence of moisture. At its most intense, anal itching causes intolerable discomfort that often is described as burning and soreness.

?Anal itching can be caused by irritating chemicals in the foods we eat, such as are found in spices, hot sauces, and peppers.
?Anal itching also can be caused by the irritation of continuous moisture in the anus caused by frequent liquid stools, diarrhea, or escape of small amounts of stool (incontinence). Moisture increases the possibility of infections of the anus, especially yeast, particularly in patients with diabetes mellitus or HIV.
?Treatment with antibiotics also can lead to a yeast infection and irritation of the anus.
?Psoriasis also can irritate the anus.
?Abnormal passageways (fistulas) from the small intestine or colon to the skin surrounding the anus can form as a result of disease (such as Crohn's disease), and these fistulas bring irritating fluids to the anal area.
Other problems that can cause anal itching include:
?pinworms,
?hemorrhoids,
?tears of the anal skin (fissures), and
?skin tags (abnormal local growth of anal skin).

Hemorrhoids are swollen veins in the anal canal. This common problem can be painful, but it’s usually not serious.
The most common symptoms of both internal and external hemorrhoids include:

Bleeding during bowel movements. You might see streaks of bright red blood on toilet paper after you strain to have a bowel movement.

Itching.

Rectal pain. It may be painful to clean the anal area.

Your doctor can tell if you have hemorrhoids by asking about your past health and doing a physical exam.
