When that person first goes in they are asked whom is allowed to visit and if you are one they listed then usually yes you can visit someone in a hospital who is on suicide watch but some hospitals have different rules and can say no. When they are on suicide watch they usually have someone that is in the room or a camera on them at all times so yes it will be monitored.
