Has anyone ever had spinal decompression surgery carried out if so .how does it !

Question:

Has anyone ever had spinal decompression surgery carried out if so .how does it feel .and did it cure you?

Answers:

I had a spinal decompression for a herniated disc in my neck - it can be done to remove a disc or bone spurs/narrowing of the spine.

In my experience (personal and professional - I've worked in neurosurgery for 20+ years)...When done by an experienced surgeon and done for the right reasons, decompression, which is a VERY common procedure has excellent results when conservative (non-surgical things like therapy, oral medicines and injections) have failed to relief pain.

How it feels after surgery depends on how many levels need to be decompressed (1-2 can be an outpatient procedure while more levels usually means more discomfort that requires pain medicines given IV or IM for a day or so)

Many patients, especially those decompressed for herniated discs, have said the pain from the incision is not bad at all compared to what they were putting up with.

It cured my pain and weaknes and I've seen it cure literally thousands of people. Email me if you want more info.
