When someone describes something painful, I actually feel pain in my arms. Has a!

Question:

When someone describes something painful, I actually feel pain in my arms. Has anyone else every had this?

If I am sympathetic toward a story someone is telling me or the story describes someone having something painful happen to them, I feel pain in my arms near the inside of my elbows. Has anyone ever felt that or heard of that? Thanks.

Answers:

Many people can feel the physical or emotional pain of others.

They are called empaths....which is where the word empathy comes from.
