How high is the temperature? Try alcohol rub. Pour some on the skin and rub with your hands, concentrating on the neck, inside elbows, backs of knees and on the trunk. This should cool them down quickly. If the temperature is spiking, put the child in a cool bath.

Try taking a bath in cold water with a little bit of rubbing alcohol. It'll drop your temperature quick. Also a cold rag on your forehead. And also some fever redicing medicine. Iboprufen for example.

Cool wash cloth on forehead, ice bath, medicine, depends on how bad it is.

If you have time to go on the computer im pretty sure you arent going to die, but i would put it under cold water first.
