how would you put someone who is already in a wheelchair into the recovery position safely without harming them or you?
if you tip the chair back (as you might with someone on a normal chair) the handles keep the back of the chair off the ground and sometimes the back leans back meaning they may roll over backwards

The most practical way might be to do a transfer out of the chair and then into the recovery position, depending on the situation.
