What to do to help my calf muscle?!

Question: What to do to help my calf muscle?
I walked about a mile in 5 inch heels last night which has caused my calf muscle to tense and cramp up. What can I do to ease the excruciating pain? Stretches? Ice? Heat? Leg brace? Thanks!

Gently stretch it, and have a warm bath. Heat helps tensed up muscles relax. Massage it as you would a leg cramp.

Massage it and stretch it after and then repeat. Heat helps. Rest Helps the most, and then after it's rested stretch it slowly. Icy Hot and stuff like that might help. If you drink, some warm whiskey might take the edge off the pain. A basic calf stretch is best, find a wall and then put the leg which your calf hurts a step back, push against the wall but straighten the leg out and then create a push from the mid foot to the back heel, you'll get it....

Take ibuprofen if your not allergic or have other health reason not to. Also a really great stretch is to put your foot up against a will with your heel on the floor and lean in until you feel a gentle stretch. You can take a warm bath or alternate heat and ice if it is too bad.
