The doctors said it could have been drugs.. Can someone help me out?!

Question:

The doctors said it could have been drugs.. Can someone help me out?

Yesterday i was with my friends and we were watching the fireworks and was walking home. I was already tired to begin with. While i was walking home, my knees felt weak and i collasped on the floor.
I was out of it. I mean, i could think right and clearly. I rememeber everything that had happened, and i remember all the things i was thinking about.

Everytime i thought about something that bothered me, or if i forcefully tried to get up, my body started to shake like crazy. It felt like my heart was weak, but it felt as if it were only because of the sad thoughts that was thinking. But everytime i did think of something that bothered me my body started to shake, and i think the cold contributed to it.

I had drank energy drink on an empty stomach, but the doctors said that had nothing to do with it. My blood and urine test came out fine, but they were saying that i might have taken in some estacy because thats the only thing the two tests can't detect.

they also said they think my friends or someone might have spiked me but I KNOW that that isn't true. Theere is NO WAY that could have happened because the only thing I drank was the engery drink and some bottled water I OPENED and CARRIED MYSELF. IN MY POCKET BOOK.

Someone.. please tell me it could be something else. Cus i know my friends aren't like that. I knew them for too long.

Answers:

The doctors lied to you. A basic CBC and UA (complete blood count and urinalysis...the norm for any ER patient coming in with your symptoms) would show Ecstacy...and even if they thought that was what you had taken and they didn't order the basic tests, they would have done tests to confirm the drug in your system.

A few of your symptoms mesh with Ecstacy use...but not the depression. Drinking something with a lot of stimulants on an empty stomach would easily cause a syncopal (fainting) episode.

In the meantime, I would highly recommend complaining to someone about the physicians that treated you. What they did is highly dangerous.

Feel better soon...
