i'v been using proactive it worked for the first time, then i stroped, when i got acne again (it got really severe) it didnt work for me the second time. I am still currently using proactive, but i still get bumps all the time. I just use it at night though. the salicylic acid 20% is a peel, so i wont use it regurlaly. Same with the lactic acid, I'll just alternate by week. That's what the ebay person told me, I checked all the feedbacks and it seems legit 100%, plus nice and friendly customer service. I might give it a try, but what do you guys think?

Answers:

oh baby i kno how acne feels! it's demoralizing, painful, and sad! anyways... If proactiv doesn't work for your skin anymore, stop using it. I've used it before and it only irritated my skin like crazy. I never use benzoyl peroxide. Even the name sounds scary! There are other solutions, try salicylic acid face washes and creams. More importantly, don't you ever pick and squeeze your face (well, 1 pimple occasionally with clean hands or pore extracting tools)! Also, I suggest not eating overly sweet and fried foods. Eat more vegetables. A diet change can improve your acne from the inside! (Don't believe those doctors that say diet has nothing to do with acne!) If your skin is very oily, try washing your face 3 times a day with a mild cleanser. What else is helpful? Oh, if your skin is not too irritated, try using The Body Shop's Aloe exfoliator. It helps remove dead skin cells (which can make acne scars more visible) and smooths your complexion. I've never used lactic acid, so I have no idea if it works well with salicylic acid. 20% salicylic acid is a bit too much in my opinion. Most face washes are 2%. If want continuous salicylic acid action, try Clean and Clear's Acne Gel. It's a light, non drying gel that contains 2% salicylic acid. All these products can be bought in a mall. I hope your acne improves!
