How do I disable myself to get out of doing something?!

Question:

How do I disable myself to get out of doing something?

There is something that I really, really, really, don't want to do and the only way I can think of getting out of it is injuring myself. I don't want it to cause permanent damage, though. I also need it to appear as an accident. So far, I've come up with the following ways:

Place my bare foot under the car wheel when it's pulling in the driveway.
Drop one of my dad's weights or something else heavy on my foot, or sit in a chair with my foot on something and my leg stretched out and drop it on my knee or leg.
Climb on the roof and jump off, landing on one leg. I'll lie about how it happened of course, I'll say I fell on the stairs and landed weird.
Go out for a run and "accidentally" step on a large nail (not a break but might get the job done if it's bad enough.)

It needs to be serious enough to really disable me for at least a week, not just like a broken finger or something, yet I fear that these methods will cause permanent damage. Are these good methods, or are there better ones?

Sounds like you are trying to get out of prom date. What's wrong--you can't dance?
