Question: I have pain right behind my knees, especially when bending them then straightening them. What is this?
I work 8 to 10 hours a day and i am on my feet all day long.I have been experiencing sharp pains in both legs directly behind my legs for the past 9 months. It has gotten worse, when I bend my knees to reach something on the ground i can barely straighten them back up. I am only 20 so i dont know what could be wrong.

Pain in the back of the knee can be due to the formation of a cyst, called a Baker's Cyst, in the back of the knee joint. Also common is for kneecap pain to be felt in the back of the knee.
