Can an ear infection make your mentrual cycle late?!

Question: Can an ear infection make your mentrual cycle late?
Here is my cycle pattern...
July 1st
August 11th
September 12th
October 8th
December 13th
January 6th

My period is very irregular. Sometimes I could wait 40 days before having a period. I just had an ear infection which I felt like I had to vomit, couldn't really eat, and had a low grade fever. I did not go to the doctors to get antibiotics for the ear infection which started last Thursday. I have taken two home pregnancy tests that came back negative. Before giving the answer to this question I am not asking if I am pregnant and I already know the answer of go to the doctors. If it was that easy, I would have gone when my ear first started bothering me. At this point, I still feel very drained. Is the ear infection still bothering me? Could this be the cause of what's making my period late?

your ear infection wouldn't be the reason your period is late but if you are irregular most of the time don't worry give it another week or so and if it hasn't come by then go to the docs it is possible you wouldn't get a positive test even if you were pregnant because it is too early.

I'd say it is the ear infection tiring you out and making you feel crappy

feel better soon
