I can't really hear through my left ear! ?!

Question: I can't really hear through my left ear! ?
Today me and my family went to Nevada and the car ride there, my ears were fine, but the car ride back, my ears started to hurt. They usually stop after a while so ignored it, then they sarted to hurt even more, so I put my music on hoping that would help. When I took my earphones out, my right ear was fine, but my left ear was plugged? And still is! What can I do to stop it? My dad said to chew gum, but I've been doing that for like an hour and thats not really helping.

Auditorium-type assistive listening systems. Many auditoriums, movie theaters, churches, synagogues, and other public places are equipped with special sound systems for people with hearing loss. These systems send sounds directly to your ears to help you hear better. Some can be used with a hearing aid and others without.

A cold pack or cold wet wash cloth applied to the outer ear for 20 minutes may reduce pain.

Olive oil or over-the-counter ear drops are gentle and effective, as long as the eardrum has not ruptured. Prescription drops, such as Auralgan, are also effective for pain relief.
