If i go to the hosiptal, how will it be?!

Question:

If i go to the hosiptal, how will it be?

i have a 103.1 fever right now, a killer headache, and i walk like a drunken f*ggort.

if i go to the hospital tomorrow, will they hook me up to IVs?
would i be able to bring my teddy bear, baby blankie, ipod & cell phone?
would i have to stay over night?
what would i wear there? pajamas?
will they make me change?
will i be able to take a shower?
how long will i be there?

i'm kinda nervous. see my prior question for more info.
i'm 14 and ive never been to a hospital.
i'm scared.

Answers:

Sweetheart if you take some tylenol and ibuprofen you should be able to bring your fever down and therefore not need to go to hospital. There are lots of things that you can do to stop you from having to go to the hospital. If you can get your fever down for the time being you could then visit your GP who could give you treatment without having to go to the hospital.
As for your other questions it all depends on which hospital you go to I guess but if you came to the Emergency room where I work the answers would be

IVs usually only if you are unwell and look dehydrated
YES you can take your teddy, blankie, iPOD, & cell (cant use cell inside the dept though)
Staying overnight would depend on how long it took to be seen by the dr - the treatment needed, how sick you are and what time of the day you got there
Pyjamas are fine to wear :)
AT our dept we would sually make you change into a hospital gown to enable a thorough assessment and then you could change back into your PJs
Yes you can take a shower if you feel the need for one
How long you will be there will all depend on numerous things like - HOW sick you are, HOW quick you recover, HOW long it takes for DR to see you, HOW busy the ER is, HOW long for your tests to come back - this cant be answered as it all depends on the person and the dept that you go to
