Question: What is wrong w/ my hands?!?

today I was playing volleyball outside like all day. & around 6:00 my hands got all red. (not the part where I hit the volleyball, forearm or wrist. my knuckles, and ontop of my hands.) they burnt really badly! & when I put lotion on, it made it worse. it's like red dots everywhere. my knuckles, and my whole hand. I know it's b/c of the cold, but idk what to do about it. no lotion helps & anytime I wash my hands it comes up, & burns. it went away hours ago, but came back when I was brushing my teeth, & I washed my hands. any reason why this might be happening, or what good lotion can help make it better.

These may be the effects of very cold temperature and pressure that have accumulated around your hands. When pressure is applied, blood flows fast in that area so as the heat could be distributed around the area. This may be the cause of your burning sensation. Another cause of the burning sensation would be the very cold temperature. This is the way the nerve responses to very cold temperatures.
