bruise on my toenail?!
Question: Bruise on my toenail?
Back in I think it was august I was skating and tried a trick but when I was in the air I accidently stomped on it while the deck was coming back down and the wheel smashed my big toe.
So ever since then there has been a purple whitish looking thing on the actual nail itself. It feels like it would fall off but I would think it would have because after all it has been five or six months but I was just wondering is it normal for it to have been that long and nothing has really happand except I noticed that the bruise purple white looking thing on my toenail has moved from the middle to more close to the top of the nail.

The discoloration you are seeing on your nail is blood that was trapped under the nail when you injured your toe. The reason the bruise has moved is because your toenail is growing out. Sometimes they fall off and sometimes they don't. I would keep an eye on it. In another month or so it will grow out completely and the bruise will be gone.
