My family is about to go to Mexico in 11 days, My son had to have appendix taken!
Question:
My family is about to go to Mexico in 11 days, My son had to have appendix taken out last night,?
Would it be safe to go to Mexico with him even though it will be 11 days away? We were going to stay for 13 days? What do think about it? Please help. He is 11 years old, He just turned it 6 days ago. Wow what a birthday gift and He will miss the fireworks on 4th of July. :(

I bet he will be fine. The surgery today is so much better then it was years ago. I had mine out and was up walking the next day, and home in one more. I bet he comes home today,or tomorrow. Just tell your doctor and get all the after surgery details. I don't remember anything I could not do. This was a while ago though. You are a good Mom to be worried so. You should all go and have a great time.
