how can i get to sleep????!


Question: How can i get to sleep????
I need to start getting up early in the mornings to go cycling & i want to get up at around maybe 7:00am or earlier. Only problem is..is that i have been getting up at like 9:00am for ages and later at weekends and going to bed late every night so my whole routine is crap. I can't go to bed late if i want to get up in the morning early or i will be knackered so i would go to bed early but how can i do that when that morning i got up really late?

I need to go to bed early tonight, at about 10:00pm but i know i won't be able to sleep because i got up late this morning along with all my other mornings so how can i get to sleep tonight to enable me a new routine? or do i just have to suck it up for one day being really tierd tomorrow and then going to bed early tomorrow night instead and starting from there?

Help please.

I've had the same problem. First go to bed at 9:30pm so you can have more time to get to sleep. Second during the day do some exercise or go out, walk around your area, go shopping this should tire you out. Also when you get to bed try not to think about anything. If you have lots of stuffs on your mind when your in bed just write everything in a diary or piece of paper this should help you get to sleep easily. If you have a t.v then put on some boring show and watch it you will soon drift off! Another thing is when you get to bed don't eat anything or drink energy, fizzy drink.

Get up early in the morning and go cycling like you want to, plus doing other activities that will wear you out, DON'T take any naps throughout the day and then try going to bed at 10pm like you want to and you will go to sleep because by that time you will have worn yourself out for the day and will be too tired to stay up any later.

worry blocks effective mind process. we have it seems a very efficient inner clock. think about the time you want get up relax go to sleep and you will wake up just before the alarm. it wont be too accurate at first but it will improve. worry will cause it all to fail.
