Question: Pain in left shoulder and under left rib?
Hello i am a 13 year old boy. Since friday i have had a pain in my shoulder. And it is getting worse. i have not injured myself in anyway. It just randomly started. I woke up this morning and now my shoulder is hurting and their is a pain under my left rib cage. when i go to sleep it gets worse and it hurts alot. if i take deep breaths the pain gets worse under my rib cage and in my shoulder. What can this be? i can go hospital now. shall i? or shall i go doctors tomorrow. plzzz help me i beg you. :'(

I had a very similiar experience last year! The pain would come and go randomly and I was very worried. Also, my left ribcage was 'sticking out' so to speak, I could visibly see it more than my right one.

Do you have this too? If so, it might be your back. Surprise, surprise, but it is true. Me, I have a curved back, and the fact that it is curved to the left meant more of my body weight being put on my left side as well, thus causing the pain in my shoulder and rib. I suggest you go to the GP and have him/her prescribe you for an X-Ray. Whether it's your back or not, an X-Ray should show what the problem is.

you have to meet doctor immediate, and try to do some massage on your shoulder some times it might be a muscular pain but concern the doctor immediately. MAY GOD bless you and makes you healthy.
