Whats wrong with me?

I've been sick since saturday and i need a diagnosis. I have basic cold symptoms but my throats is bugging the hell out of me. Its not sore it hurts. Barely above and to the left of my adams apple. I've never felt that pain before and i want to know what it is.
Can someone tell me whats up with my throat?

hi from michele. you could have tonsillitis or adenoiditis, or possibly a bacterial infection. please check yourself for a fever and call your medical doctor to be seen asap. in the meantime u can gargle with salt in warm water. gargle for 10 seconds and then spit out. i also try to let a potatoe chip dissolve in my mouth. the oil and salt will also make your throat feel better. also, this could be an std-please dont take offense. ;)michele
