Appendicitis???!

Appendicitis???

I have been having pain on my right side.Kind of like were my hip bone is at but a little more up. I tried the whole putting your leg up and it doesn't hurt but after a while it starts hurting. I don't know if thats what it is because it doesn't hurt that much but then again I have never had appendicitis so I don't know how much its supposed to hurt. I am also on my period right now so I dont know if I might be confusing it with cramps. Ive had this pain for quite a while already. Maybe about a week and a couple of days. I started my period 3 days ago. Could it be it or is it just cramps.

I don't really like going to doctors because I have had a bad experience with them. So I want to know what it really is that way if its really really serious I would go to one.

It sounds like ovarian pain. You can get this with your period. If you have a fever however, then it could be some sort of an infection (ie. appendicitis). A fever is the body's way of telling us something is wrong. Just a heat pad or better yet, go for a walk. Exercise helps greatly for menstrual pain.
