These pains just come on and off... Also, im 16 and male if that helps..

You probably have a chest infection,go to the Doctors and get checked out,he will probably give you antibiotics if you have one.

Oh my life! I ALWAYS get these pains, it hurts to breath in because it ( well I cant describe what it feels like if im being honest! ) ! I know exactly what you feel because I always get them. Its just the side effects from the cold and all of the flem I think? I dont know, but it always always always helps me if I hold my breath for 20 seconds. I works seriously. Try it next time because it makes the pain go away quicker ! (:

Hope I helped

Coughing so much has prob put a lot of pressurure on your ribcage.if you were older chances are youd have a cracked rib .very painful and all you can have is painkillers.because your young youve prob pulled your chest muscles.ive had this prob and its a bit scary,i was thinking alsorts as yyou do.try some heat rub and a paracetamol.it'll work wonders.good luck.not that youll need it.this can happen to people of all ages for different reasons

It's likely muscle pain from coughing. Sometimes with violent coughs you can pull a muscle. There is a chance that your cold has gone into your chest, and this could put you at elevated risk for pneumonia. Check with your primary doctor as soon as you can.
