Question: What's wrong with my boyfriend?
I'm a bit worried and wondered if anyone had any suggestions as to what it might be. I know it sounds like flu but is it possible for flu to just start all of a sudden?
Any help would be much appreciated!

Everything your boyfriend has sounds like flu symptoms, except the ear ache. The flu doesn't cause ear aches. They are a sign of an ear infection. A really bad infection can cause flu-like symptoms. If he develops a fever or the ear ache is bad or gets worse, he really should go to the doctor so he can be put on antibiotics.
yup flu, probably because his immune is a little down right now. has been up all night or working really hard or something.
The flu can come on suddenly.
