HELP!!!!!!!!!! Got the biggest cluster of cold sores ever!?
Using Famvir and Flucloxacillin cos Zovirax (Aciclovir) doesn't help. Going out on Fri nite (really really really special occasion) but look like the elephant man :( Any ideas on how to get swelling down asap? All help gratefully received as I'm desperate. Thanks in anticipation

Sorry to put downers on things for you,but I also have just got over the same problem as what you have just got.
To me It seemed like there is no more 'The moon', it was reinstating it self around my mouth area.
It took me about nine days to get rid of the problem,I first used.
'Fenistil' cold sore cream which the pharmacist gave me after she had a look.
You have to use it every two hours for four days,it felt like it sligthly burned,and noticed the difference after a day.
After four days there was still bits off 'The Moon' still around my mouth, so I started to use 'zovirax' as the pharmacist said to use 'Fenistil' for four days only."Stubern or what".
It took a further five days to clear 'The Moon' of around my mouth with the 'zovirax'.
Sorry Squirrel but your 'Moon' could be different,don't let it stop you going out.It never stopped me.
Best thing to do is when you meet someone and they say "alright Squirrel how you doing",just say "ya not to bad,but I defferently could do with out this cauliflower growing round my mouth,Its driving me mad".
There automatically feel so sorry for you and say."ya I remember when I had one it drove me mad as well".
They won't say anymore after that you watch,people only take the Mick,If they think you trying to hide it.
