What does being dehydrated feel like?!

Question:

What does being dehydrated feel like?

Last year I was dehydrated and didn't even know it, so I'm wondering if maybe this might be it and these are the symtoms, last night I felt really light headed and dizzy, and my body felt really heavy. I checked my sugar and it was 254, I know this is high but my sugar usually runs high and I usually dont feel like that. It was weird, I have never felt like that before. I do have high blood pressure also but no blood pressure machine, I was wondering if anyone knew what this sounds like? Maybe I am dehydrated? Today I don't feel like that, I am just really hot.. but it is really hot outside. Any ideas?

Answers:

dehydration can cause headaches, nausea, and slow down your pee output. When you urinate, it will be darker than usual, and more concentrated.

If you are light headed you may be salt depleted as well- eat some salty foods and also get some potassium from oranges and bananas.

If you do not pee several times a day, you should drink more water. If you are drinking, peeing, and sweating a lot, and you're light headed, it is probably the salt.

try coolng off with a wet t-shirt and wet hair.

good health to you-
