How to help a gum cut?!

There's not a lot you can do for it. Gum cuts hurt, but thankfully they don't take too long to heal.

However, I would at least rinse your mouth thoroughly with salt water or mouth wash tonight to prevent a canker sore from forming where the cut it.

Ouch.. that sucks. Make sure to keep the area clean so it doesn't get infected. There isn't too much you can do except wait for it to heal. Don't worry - it shouldn't take too long!

Rinse it out with cold water and you should be fine.
I often use a little toilet paper or paper towels to stop the bleeding, though you could use gauze, too.

gargle with salt water, followed by listerine. this will prevent it from getting infected. be careful!
