Question: What are the harmful effects of late sleeping or not having enogh sleep hours(time)?
I am only sleeping 5 hours at night.Is it a problem?

Loss of cognitive function, impairment of memory, and hyper-active mood swings and emotions are just some of the immediate effects. Then there are also effects by proxy such as increased appetite and lack of physical activity which can cause one to start gaining weight.



Not sleeping enough will have a similar affect on cognitive skills as drinking alcohol. Reaction time, memory, awareness, are affected.



i also want the answer. but i am experiencing gastric and acidity due to this. due to late sleeping.



5 hours is more than enough.Problem arise only when there is no sleep at all.Be happy you got 19 hours to do work.In some book I have read 3 hours is enough.



DOCTORS SAY THAT WE SHOULD HAVE SLEEP 8 HRS ...............5 hrs sleep not harm you i myself have sleep 5hr but mostly i complete it in sunday or holidays
