What could I have damaged in my foot after stepping on 1 inch metal?!


Question:

What could I have damaged in my foot after stepping on 1 inch metal?

I stepped on the end of a bed frame with all my weight. It went in at the arch of my foot at least an inch deep. now the heel of my foot the ball at my toes and the outside of my foot hurts much more then the wound. What are the possibilities of what I've done?
