Shattered wrist 2 years ago, has been extremely painful to move the past few day!

Question: Shattered wrist 2 years ago, has been extremely painful to move the past few days.?
Ever since the injury I've been in and out of doctor offices around the province, only to be told I'm crazy and I have permanent cartilage/ligament damage.
I had a wrestling tournament on thursday and when I woke up the next morning I couldn't even move my fingers without having a sharp pain shooting down my arm. My fingers are bruised and the side of my hand and arm are a little bit swollen. I don't remember twisting it or jamming it at the tournament at all. Whenever I do anything that involves moving my wrist a lot it gets like this, even doing push ups.

Does anyone else have this after activity from old injuries? What do you do to get the pain/swelling to go away. I don't want to be drugged for the rest of my life on tylenol.

Answers:

The tendons for your wrist can be tight after being shattered like that and it is keeping your wrist close to going in pain because they are never fully freed up. You have to free up the tendons for the muscles in your wrist to get full relief from that and to keep you out of pain. Here's how to free up those tendons for your relief:
Wrist:
With hand resting in front of you with the palm up, bend your wrist as far as you can.. Then press into the area behind the wrist, where they take your pulse, and hold a good amount of pressure on it. After 30 seconds slowly open your wrist up as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your wrist open for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.

wow! umm if i were you i would start wearing a wrist brace or go to more advanced hospital. i have never broken anything {except for lots of fingers and maybe my shoulder} but when i lean on one wrist it hurts really bad and if i lean on the other it doesn't hurt...... sooo..
