If you are in a town with a teaching hospital (medical school) you can be treated for free by the student doctors. You will need to go there and make an appointment or call. This would be my best suggestion or you could try the following:
In most towns they have a rescue mission that a doctor visits a least once a week. This would be a free visit if the person running the mission agrees.
Or, you can go to a clinic (run by a catholic organization-you do not have to be catholic, they treat all faiths, no exceptions) and explain your situation. Since they are non-profit they have a certain amount of accounts that they wright off. Talk to the director or insurance department rep they will direct you to the right person.
