Question: Question about Myofascial pain.?
Hello
Was diagnosed with a thoracic muscle strain and was improving through physical therapy. I was released from therapy and was told to do exercises at home to strengthen the weakened muscle. Because of stressful situations in life, I have neglected to do the exercises and use the muscle normally. Now it is tender to the touch(only in the injured area). I have started to do the therapy exercises again and those don't aggravate it though. No fatigue, widespread pain, nausea, sleep problems or other symptoms. Could this be myofascial pain or the muscle is just weak from lack of use?

Well, if the exercises help, then I would say its just weak muscles. But if the exercises ever stop helping, go back for treatment/
