Question: Cold-Lke Symptoms around animals?
I have a cat, hes 12 years old. At home, im normal. Whenever i go to someones house that has dogs or cats, its like i caught a cold. My berathings hard, i cough really loud, my eyes water, my nose runs & gets stuffy. When i get hone, after a few hours or a day, its like magic, its gone. Should i take benadryl when i go to my friends house?

Hello, Rain.
It does sound like an allergy to the pet "dander" of other peoples pets. You may have become sensitized to your pet's hair/dander but not to others.
Benadryl sounds like a good solution. If it doesn't work you may have to use one of the more expensive allergy meds. Or see an allergy specialist.
