Question: I fell onto a hot wood stove and got a burn on my cheek last Tuesday.?
Now it is Sunday and that whole side of my face is terribly swollen. I didn't know if it was allergic reaction to bacitracin or if this is normal for burns. I stopped using bacitracin and have been taking benadryl, as well as using cold compresses. I am wondering if severe swelling is normal several days after a burn, or if something is wrong.

Burns normally do not cause swelling. The "fall" could have caused swelling, but should be able to be reduced by using cold compresses. If cold compresses don't reduce the swelling, see a doctor.
