Miracle or just really lucky? My bad appendicitis...? Long story?!

Question: Miracle or just really lucky? My bad appendicitis...? Long story?
So I was in the hospital of may 2010 with really bad stomach pains, and constant Puking but the doctors told me it was colonitis or something and I stayed for about 3 days on an antibiotic. The pain went away, for the most part (it wasn't gone but it wasnt terrible). Throughout June and the beginning of July I would occasionally faint and have blackouts (which I was told was from my anemia and dehydration) and sometimes for a period of several days I would be in crippling pain. Once i couldn't move because it hurt so bad and I was crying and crawling to the bathroom, everytime I puked I puked twice because the pain of puking was so bad. Then in July it started again, extreme extreme extreme pain, but it was in my lower left side, constant Puking and I could barely walk because the pain had spread down my leg. I was rushed to the ER where they did an ultrasound and gave me two shots of morphine every hour just to subside the pain. When they couldn't find my appendix in the ultrasound they admitted me and did a CT scan the next day. Once again the brilliant doctors determined that they couldn't find my appendix and went in for a laproscopical surgery. When I came out of it they said my appendix had exploded in may, the antibiotics that they had given me had probably saved my life because my body had walled off the infection. My appendix had blown off my colon (on the right side) and ended up underneath my left Fallopian tube which was swollen to the size of a sausage. The infection was on my right side though and was spreading down my leg. I'm fifteen now, I was only fourteen when this happened last summer and I was just wondering if this was like miraculous? Have you guess heard of anything like this happening before? Oh and cheers if you actually read this far:) thanks:)

Sounds like you were very lucky!! God must have a plan for you! :D

That's definatley a miracle! =)

a ruptured appendix is not uncommon at all.

my hospital saw one recently - woman came in with vomiting and diarrhoea, she was admitted with a diagnosis of gastro and the diagnosis was not made till 2 days later

I was one of the nurses in ED and this presentation was not a typical appendicitis at all,

it happens - abdominal pain can be many things

but you sound fine now, so all has ended well
