I've had pleurisy for 2weeks now and I have just started getting pains in my low!

I've had pleurisy for 2weeks now and I have just started getting pains in my lower left side of my back.?

I had and have still got pain in the left ribs when I breathe but am now experiencing pain in the lower left part of my back, it is keeping me up at night. my doctor told me my pains in my ribs were muscular but I have been like this for 2weeks now, had antibiotics but they dont seem to be working, has anyone else been through this?

Pleuresy is an inflammation around the lungs, not an infection although generally brought on by an infection, so antibiotics won't get rid of it. Are you taking anti inflammatories? Ask your doc for some naproxen or something. I had pleuresy brought on by bronchitis and the pain lasted for about 2 months. It's one of those things that just takes time.
