How soon after an operation can you fly?
My husband had minor surgery to his knee 2.1/2 weeks ago and we booked a holiday for Monday 9th July to Turkey. Someone has since said that you cannot fly for 1 month after an operation! If this is the case we have lost our money as too late to cancel. Please help!!

i do not think it should matter.
make sure that he is able to walk around once in a while to prevent blood clots.
it is also important that once on holiday, he will have to take it easy on the knee, using common sense and not stressing it too much.
