Question:

What is a good job for an ex LPN who has nerve damage in her back and cant be an LPN anymore?

i know someone who used to be an LPN but was hit by a drunk driver and can't perform the duties of a nurse because of the nerve damage in her back. I'm trying to possible find a job that wont hurt her back to do. Any suggestions?

Answers:

Here's a few career fields that could use her skills but would be easy on the back: She might need to get a little extra training...but again, maybe not: She could become a call center health counselor, such as those used by disease management businesses. She could become a health (or lifestyle) coach. Most of the client/coach interaction is done by phone or in face-to-face sessions. She could look into being a wellness manager for a business. She could look into writing health/wellness content for websites, doctors' offices, magazines, etc.
