Question: Question for any medical professionals concerning severely broken humerus. How badly was I mishandled?
I broke my humerus in 4 places last year. It was a spiral fracture from the top to just below the midline. I was placed in a collarbone brace for one week before seeing the orthopaedic surgeon. He put me in a proper brace but said they could not correct the misalignment.
It is not completely healed but it is 70% off in one direction and 50% off in the other. The physiotherapist said that young men will heal perfectly and the bone will remodel itself.
I am 22 years old. No nerve damage. However it hurts when I do pushups. Is this normal??

Your physiotherapist is correct. The bone will remodel over time and eventually be realigned.
