Any replacements for Midol, im cramping real bad?!

Question: Any replacements for Midol, im cramping real bad?
i dont have any midol or ibuprofen left, and tylenol seems to be making things worse, any other pills?
what about pepto bismol or zantac, the thing says "for upset stomach" and "for sour stomach", could sour and upset work the same as menstrual cramps?

Midol and Ibu are the same thing. Midol is just a brand. Tylenol won't really help because it doesn't reduce swelling/inflammation, just minor pain. Naproxen is another anti-inflammatory that would work. Heat also helps with cramps by relaxing the muscles; so hot shower or a heating pad on your lower abdomen.
Zantac or other antacids won't do anything for you at all because they only treat acid reflux, not cramping.

Some cramping can be caused by tight back muscles pressing onto the nerves to make the problems worse. Freeing up your back muscles can give you some relief and here's how to free them up:
Back:
(do from a sitting position)
Place your left hand on your left leg next to your body. Place your right hand over your left shoulder, fingers over the back and the palm in the front and firmly pull down on them and hold. After 30 seconds slowly lower your body forward and to the outside of your left leg, keeping your left arm fairly straight as you do. When you reach your lap remain there for another 10 seconds, release the pressure but rest there for another 30 seconds. Then reverse your hand positions and do your right side.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
