Why do I feel like such crap when I wake up in the morning?!

Question: Why do I feel like such crap when I wake up in the morning?
Hey there, for the longest time when I wake up I've felt so crappy and I'm not sure why. I work from 4-midnight, go home, probably go to sleep around 1-2, then wake up whenever I wake up, usually 10-11. When I wake up I have so many issues, my throat burns, and I have a massive headache. The headache is the worse part because it seems like if I sleep more than 6 or so hours I get that headache. I also don't have any energy, and I feel like the sleeping aspect was pointless. Any suggestions? I don't mind going to sleep at a certain time then setting my alarm for a certain time, but how long should it be? Also, I don't drink alcohol, smoke, do drugs, so it's nothing to do with that. I'm a 22 year old male. Any suggestions are welcome. Thanks.

I would say that maybe you grind your teeth at night, but that doesn't explain the the burning throat. Also, for your age you shouldn't be feeling low on energy. I would say that you should definately see a doctor if this has been going on for a long time, because I don't know, and medical issues are best solved by professionals.

Your neck muscles are tight causing those problems and sleeping on them isn't helping you out at all. When your neck muscles are tight they restrict everything going in and out of your head, including the blood. When there is a reduced blood flow to the brain you will have a lowered oxygen level there as well. You will know when the oxygen level has dropped when you feel very tired. If the level drops more you will get dizzy, light headed, and more you pass out. The tight neck muscles press into your throat to make it burn because the muscles can't move the way they should for that pain. Your neck muscles go to the top of your head where they connect to muscles that go around your head. When the neck muscles are tight they pull on the muscles going around your head and when they go into pain you have your headache. To get rid of these pains you have to free up your neck muscles and here's how to do that:
Neck
Put your hands alongside your head so your thumbs are on the front of the muscle under your ear and your fingers are on the back of the muscle behind your neck. Squeeze your thumb and fingers together and hold. Relax your body. When your fingers and thumb touch, about two minutes, slowly lower your head as far as you can, release the pressure but hold your neck lowered for another 30 seconds.
For best results relax your body first by taking a deep breath and exhaling then remain this relaxed.
