Im 17 and i hear this ringing noise in my ear and its not going away its been 1 !

Im 17 and i hear this ringing noise in my ear and its not going away its been 1 week already and i got it?

right after i got an ear infection. is the ringing in my ear permanant?i dont listen to loud music that much ppl say u get this ringing noise in ur ear wen u listen to loud music.its only my left infected ear that makes the ring noise its loud and i cant hear what ppl say sometimes is this bad??i went to the docter too he gave me foxin ear drops and its not working my ear feels the same way since i first got it.i cant take it anymore!!!!!

yea the woman above me said this and shes right, you have a condition called tinnitus, alot of things can cause this, the most common is external ear infection, and your doctor gave floxin (i assume thats what you meant) so that will help any infection you have, but since you said its not working i assume youve given it time. a host of other things can cause this too, a lot of drugs can cause ringing (there called ototoxic drugs) like asprin and some antibiotics, also a b12 deficiency has been known to cause tinnitus, as well as some neurological disorders and even ear wax you definitley should talk to your doctor about it, as for treatment, acamprosate and carbemazepine are known medications but your doctor will know best
