Nightmares leading to insomnia?!
Question:
Nightmares leading to insomnia?
Lately I've been having a lot of really horrible nightmares every time I go to sleep. I have them even if I'm taking a nap and sometimes there are moments during the nightmare that I seem to stop breathing for an extended time, almost to the point where I feel like I could pass out due to a lack of air. These nightmares almost have kind of forced me into a bit of insomnia and I have a really difficult time getting to sleep now and seem to just lie in bed with my eyes open for hours.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I feel as if I haven't had a sound sleep in almost two months.
Answers:
Insomnia is often caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression or sometimes for no apparent reason. Make sure your bedroom is quiet and dark. Soak a tablespoon of mint leaves in a cup of water for an hour, drink every night. Check out http://useinfo-insomnia.blogspot.com/... for more info
