Question:
Knee arthitise at age 16?
Okay, for around 7 years, give or take, my knees have always popped loudly when I bend them all the way. My mom's do too, so that's how I got it. I also unicycle frequently which leaves them stiff for a few minutes but I had never dealt with pain before. However, yesterday at noon I was walking from my friend's house to my boyfriend's and I noticed a (Un painful) feeling in my knee that felt as though it was locked, or wrapped tightly preventing it from bending even though I could bend it fine. It didn't hurt but it was annoyingly uncomfortable... this feeling lasted a few hours, I went to the House of Blues with some friends, the feeling was gone (but only because I was standing in place, I only felt it when walking. not standing, not sitting) after the show all of my boyfriend's friends, my boyfriend and I walked around Dallas for 2 hours, the longer we walked the havier the feeling got... then it began to hurt slightly. Today at school the painfully stiff feeling stayed when I walked... by the end of school I had to take breaks walking to class, if I didn't walk with a limp it would almost leave me in tears. Walking home from school, I started to notive a clicking feeling in my knee.
i am not in any sports, and I don't recall hitting my knee on anything or injurying it in anyway...
what do you guys think it is??

I had a similar problem a couple of years ago. My doctor told me that the muscle above my knee wasn't strong enough and that's what was causing my pain. She had me buy 2 lb. ankle weights and do exercises with them twice a day. It was really simple, I had to wear the weights and lift and hold my leg up while pointing my toe for 5 minutes. After that I had to do 20 reps of moving my leg up, holding for 5 seconds, and then bringing it back down. It doesn't sound like it would work but after a few weeks my knees did start to feel a lot better.
