I get cramp on both feet, mainly at night. They aren't cold or anything like that. Why does this happen and what can I do to help it?

bananas, potatoes, anything with potassium will reduce cramps (as in eating them!!:P). shoes with better arch support would be good. masage the middle of your arch every night. stretch by pulling your toes back, then pushing them forward individually. if it still hurts, talk to somebody about it.

i take pointe (ballet) and have those problems!

Most likely due to the shoes you wear. Cramp is a spontaneous and involuntary contraction of a muscle - if your feet muscles are held in an awkward position throughout the day, you will get cramp at night. My advise would be to buy a new pair of shoes.

does it only happen when you bent them? because if so, what i did to take hare of that was just lay down, and let the cramp happen, and then it wouldn't come back for a god week or so, i also did some stretches

That can happen if you are changing shoes, or also if you are not drinking enough water or getting enough potassium(bananas)

You should stretch you feet it fells much better.. or message it.
