You will be able to walk after the cast is off and you are not using the crutches. Keep using the crutches and do so as long as the doctor tells you to be on them. It is better to be safe and let your injury heal completely and quickly instead of re injuring your foot and having it take longer to heal because you tried walking without crutches.
you will be able to walk WITH the crutches. its best not to put your full weight on your ankle as it will hurt like hell!
Basically you have to let it heal. this takes time and putting too much strain on it will cause pain and possible complications. Surely the doctors gave you advice!
