For Nurses or people in the medical field?!

Question: For Nurses or people in the medical field?
want to be an RN (or possibly a Forensic Nurse, but that's not as important right now). Do you go to a college for general education, and then apply to a nursing school? I have looked everywhere online, but I can't find any information on what the smart thing to do is. Additionally, does anyone have any suggestions on what I can start learning now, so that way I can't start building up what I know? (Such as common diseases and their symptoms, treatments, etc or... anything?) Recommendations for books or websites are greatly appreciated!

Know the best place where you can find some of the top online accredited colleges/universities offering medical courses. To explore the list of colleges http://www.thedegreeexperts.com/dg-scien… . Here all the colleges listed are accredited from top organizations. Some of them are nationally accredited some regionally. That assures that the quality of education they give is good.

If you look into the nursing program you want to attend they will tell you what the prerequisite courses are.
