Broken Bone Please Give Me Advice?!

I had about 300 pounds of steel fall on my index finger.It was broken in 2 places one break was at the end of my finger the other was at the middle of my finger.I also got 6 stitches my question is it has been 5 day's and im in tons of pain and have times where I can't feel certain parts of my finger what could be wrong.I am afraid it may be nerve damage is that possible and what are some signs of that.I am going to dr on thursday I just needed advice on what could possibly be wrong.
